With Innovation and Team Spirit on the Winner´s Podium

In February 2020 we were delighted to be awarded the “Top Job Seal 2020”. With this award, we are building on the successes of the past years.

On 28 February 2020, the Managing Directors of NOSTA Holding Nicolas Gallenkamp and Marcus Thoben, together with Nora Spieker, HR Development, and Julia Butke, Team Leader HR Management, accepted the trophy for “Top Job Employer 2020” on behalf of NOSTA in Berlin. At the award ceremony, former Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel paid tribute to a total of 97 medium-sized German companies that were particularly committed to a healthy and high-performance workplace culture.

First award in 2018

However, the “Top Job” seal was not the first award we have received. Already in 2018 we were awarded the title “IHK TOP-Ausbildungsbetrieb” by the IHK Osnabrueck - Emsland - Grafschaft Bentheim in the certification process for the quality of company training. HR Management had previously restructured the apprenticeship area at great expense: “At the end of 2016, we started to deal with the certification procedure of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce”, recalls Nora Spieker, who is responsible for the apprenticeship area in our company. “The awarding procedure has given us new food for thought and a real development process. Through the implementation of a large number of measures, such as the appointment of apprenticeship officers at all branch locations, the introduction of regular learning target checks and the onboarding process, our apprenticeship company has been modernized step by step.” In the same year we also received the employer's seal of approval “Highest Fairness in the Job”. In a cooperation between the news magazine Focus “Money” and the provider Deutschland-Test, our company was evaluated with regard to different categories such as corporate culture, working atmosphere and fairness.

Success continues

In 2019, a total of twelve cooperation partners from the city and district of Osnabrueck awarded us the “Family-Friendly Employer” quality seal, thus honoring our efforts to improve the compatibility of family and career. Part-time and homework, flexible working hours and financial support are just some of the family-friendly measures we have introduced in recent years. In addition, in 2019 we were delighted to be named one of “Germany's Best Trainers”. Participation in the study conducted by the business magazine “Capital” and the talent platform Ausbildung.de earned us a total of 4 out of 5 stars in the “Dual Studies” category.

Three years, three awards

For the third year in a row, we were named one of “Germany's Best Apprenticing Companies” for special apprenticing quality by the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF) in cooperation with the news magazine “Focus”. “This repeated award confirms that we are on the right track with the regular modernization of our working structures. Working and apprenticing conditions are generally not rigid, but require constant monitoring”, explains Julia Butke, Team Leader HR Management.

Teamwork as the basis of our success

The commitment of HR Management has not only paid off in view of the awards: Above all, our company itself benefits from the modernization of the apprenticing company and the implementation of employee-friendly work structures. “Our decisions are always guided by the optimization of working conditions. Our goal is to create a working environment that makes it possible for our employees to achieve the best possible work-life balance. In return, we are rewarded with daily commitment and motivation. We therefore see every award as a joint success for the entire group of companies", summarizes Marcus Thoben.
